^{Today we are going to talk about  the Journalistic Texts. the Journalistic Text Is that kind of text whose purpose is to report on facts and topics of general interest. Its main function is to inform but also admits critical appraisals and opinions about events and news.}

There are two types of these texts, Informative and interpretive

^{Informative Texts}

^{These texts aim to convey reality in an objective way, as they try to make known a fact, situation or circumstance as it happened.}

Interpretive Texts

^{The interpretative report, the interview and the chronicle. A chronicle is an enlarged and commented news, so that the journalist adds to the narration of the facts (objective presentation) his own personal interpretation}

^{The elements that appear in the journalistic text are:}

^{Transmitter: Person who issues or produces the message in the act of communication}

^{Collective. Even if a specific person (journalist, editorialist, reporter, columnist) who elaborates the message, represents the interests of a particular editorial group.}

^Receivers:

^{Broad and heterogeneous public. There is no possibility of an answer. Neither can verify the veracity of the information. Some critic has pointed out that only the distance between what happened and how it appears in the press can be verified. Only then does the distance between the facts and the form in which they occur occur. This fact is verified by seeing the different contents on the same fact in different newspapers.}

^{Communication can be established through letters to the director, but never a complete communicative process.}

^Channel:

^{Written Press and Internet. They involve very complex means and technical processes. Since the information is processed until it reaches the hands of the receiver, it goes through several processes, saving very short time distances and very long spatial distances.}
